I was born in Ankara and have been living in Düsseldorf since 1971. I received my architectural education in the same city. From 1999 to 2017, I was one of the partners of "DGM Architekten" in Krefeld. Alongside my architectural work, I continuously maintained my identity as an artist in Düsseldorf. Between 2011 and 2017, I also had a studio in Istanbul-Ortaköy, alongside Düsseldorf. I carried out a series of joint projects with Turkish artists in Germany. I still run my main workspace in Düsseldorf. In recent years, with the re-establishment of connections to Ankara, I created my next workspace, the "garage," which has since developed into an experimental art space together with other artists. My interests have shifted towards areas such as text collages, performance, installations, and acoustics, in addition to painting, in recent years.
